Faux leather-real effect

I am just bursting with joy that in the last years designers and trends allow us to find extremely flattering faux leather items in more and more stores. For me,the motherlode of all faux leather shops(and more) is H&M obviously, there you can find anything to fit both your style and your pocket.

Why faux leather and not real leather you ask?

Well, when I see a hardcore leather jacket or some well cut leather pants,I just imagine them more on a man than a woman, real leather is more rough to handle than faux leather is and thus, you can’t really have a feminine take to a biker jacket.

Now let’s take a strole down faux leather wardrobe lane:

Obviously I have a faux leather flared skirt(because I'm tall and heavy on the hips).I found this   in a thift store but it's H&M:D.I try to add my own personal touch to all the basics I wear so here come the bad quality phone pics:
So this is how I would wear the skirt day to day,I chose the hippie bag to give the outfit a more casual look.
The shirts are painted by me so they're not perfect but I love'em and of course the shoes,my signature sneakers:X

                                                 BAM! (faux) LEATHER DRESS!!1!!!111

H&M of course, this was a gift for last Easter.Needless to say I wear it with boots and stockings.
And last but not least:
Basic must have numero 1
and

number 2.
The first one is not a brand jacket,I just found it in a store in my home town in the middle of summer and made it mine;).The second one is Orsay but I'm not crazy about it,it doesn't fit the way I would like it to.

That's why

There comes a point in your life when you start to really take into consideration what you wear on a daily basis as well as what items of clothing you have into your wardrobe.

The type of environment I grew up in never encouraged fashion but then again it never condemned it either so basically I was surrounded by people who dressed average without thinking about making a statement or  mentally putting together a outfit for a certain occasion. It's true:looks are not everything!..but I think that as long as you have the personality to go with the wardrobe, you're good to go;)

I do not wish to work in fashion or dedicate my life to it but I must admit that shopping and putting together outfits is one of the very few thing I really enjoy doing.
As for the blog I really hope you like it and feel comfortable enough to send me feedback…I’m aware of the fact that I’m not perfect.:)
